The British Assessment Bureau (BAB) is a leading Certification Body with pre-eminent status and UKAS accreditation.

Due to ongoing expansion, we currently have an opportunity to join our Field Auditing Team as a Part-time Field Auditor (3-days per week) in ISO standards work (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.), ideally based around the area of Taunton or West Somerset.

Full training and CPD will be provided; BAB is a recognised Investor in People GOLD as well as an award winner for customer service.

A good Auditor is friendly, constructive and adds value. These are the qualities we look for beyond industry experience and qualifications. Being an Auditor at BAB means you will work with organisations of all shapes and sizes. It goes without saying, being comfortable presenting to and interacting with people is part of the job. Beyond the assessments, Auditors are expected to write reports and keep in touch with their assigned clients on an ongoing basis from home. Diary management and administration is all handled at Head Office by our Customer Services Team.

The ideal candidate will be mature and experienced and be able to demonstrate an analytical approach, a good general understanding of how a business is managed and show experience of working in a customer facing environment. Experience in a related auditing role such as assessing, surveying or inspecting would be an advantage.

The role requires the candidate to WORK FROM HOME and a track-record of success in this form of working environment would be an advantage.

The comprehensive remuneration package includes a salary in the region of £35k pro rata (dependent on relevant experience and qualifications), paid mileage, and the usual support tools of laptop, Smart Phone, etc.

This role is principally for the region of West Somerset and surrounding areas and applicants must be in a position to cover the surrounding counties of Devon/Cornwall to the Dorset/Wiltshire borders. The successful candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel beyond their 'area’, which may include an overnight stay from time-to-time.

Applicants must be currently living in the area of West Somerset and hold a valid manual driver’s licence; with no more than 3 penalty points.

All candidates should email a FULL CV. We will respond to every applicant by email but an application is no guarantee of an interview. Please note that we will not enter into any form of dialogue prior to confirming interviews.

Interviews for this role will be held in late September, 2017.
