    Your role;

    The successful Database Administrator/DBA will provide a mixture of database application management and support whilst possessing strong communication skills and broad SQL server related expertise in SQL 2014/2016.

    The role is in our 10 strong development operations (DevOps) team, working with other database specialists in a busy, high pressure environment.

    Ideally candidates will have some experience of working with SQL Server in a virtualised environment, high-volume SQL Server replication and SSAS.

    We take pride in being an Agile organisation with a constant focus on improving the way we work. There is a drive on improving our engineering Process and architecture to lower the cost of frequent change.

    Some of your responsibilities;

  • Provision of 3rd level support for critical site incidents
  • Design and implementation of DB infrastructure projects
  • Monitoring the capacity and performance of the core server infrastructure
  • Supporting release process and change process with DB systems
  • Database Environment consultancy to the Agile development teams
  • Your experience & attributes;

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016
  • T-SQL
  • Knowledge of High Availability (Always-on / Replication)
  • Some exposure to Disaster Recovery
  • SSIS
  • Stored procedures
  • Reporting Services
  • SQL Server Analysis Services
  • Redshift
  • MySQL
