A business based in Blackpool are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. This business has been trading for over 20 years, they have a presence in the UK and the Far East.
Your new role
This exciting opportunity has arisen due to a long-term member of staff moving on to another project. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be working in an accounts team of 6. Your role is extremely important to the client as you will play a fundamental part within the accounts team, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manor and all queries are resolved quickly. As you will be responsible for the full control of Purchase Ledger you will be responsible for payment runs on a weekly basis and on a ad hoc basis as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this new vacancy, you will have at least two years experience within a similar post, you will have the desire to manage your own workload and be in control of the full end to end purchase ledger process. Previous experience of Navision or a similar system will be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, which is paying up to £18,000 depending on experience. You will be entitled to 20 days holiday + 8 statutory days. Working hours are 9:00 - 5:30pm Monday to Friday and parking is available on site.
