This is a full time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying up to £40-44K per annum. pro rata, depending on experience.

The Baking, Cooking and Spreads Company (BCS) was established in July 2015 as a P&L responsible subsidiary business of Unilever and consists of several iconic brands that have been around for many years. The BCS mission is to 'Harness the power of plants and seeds so you can enjoy healthy, great tasting food that's good for you and good for our planet'. A big business with a small business feel, BCS is an exciting and dynamic place to work, with a structure that breaks traditional silos and brings cross-functional teams together.

Flora is the BCS flagship brand, with strong heritage in the UK, 95%+ awareness and bought by 38% of UK households. However, over recent years it has struggled due to wider category perception issues and the decline of spreading occasions. In 2016 Flora embarked on an exciting journey with a €12m re-launch across the entire portfolio that drove our 'Powered by Plants' positioning; with 100% of oils in Flora from plants it is perfectly placed to tap into the ever-increasing popularity of plant-based foods. 2017 sees us continue this journey, beginning with the launch of a delicious new range of flavoured dairy free spreads and with a strong pipeline of further exciting new innovations to come; both within and outside of Spreads.
