A well-established business based in Blackpool are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. The business has been trading over 10 years, and they pride themselves on being market leaders in their sector.
Your new role
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager you will be part of a large team. Working within the purchase ledger team you will be responsible for the processing up to 250 invoices per week . This will involve matching and coding invoices, statement reconciliation, managing complex invoice queries and ensuring payments are made by the expected dates and within weekly payment forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this new vacancy, you will have at least two years experience within a similar post, you will have the desire to manage your own workload and be in control of the purchase ledger process. Previous experience of Sage or a similar system will be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, which is paying up to £22000 depending on experience. You will be entitled to 25 days holiday + 8 statutory days. Working hours are 8.00 - 5pm Monday to Friday and parking is available on site.
