Excellent permanent, full time Credit Control position working for a well known and reputable brand in Bicester.

A well known and established business based in Bicester. Known for their enjoyable working environment and excellent staff benefits, this is a great opportunity for a Credit Controller to join on a full time, permanent basis.


Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Collect overdue debts and identify for resolution any issues delaying payment.

Customer account opening and maintenance.

Daily cash receipts checked from bank statements and allocated to customer accounts.

Bank checking of electronic receipts and cover for preparation of cheques paying in.

Age of debt reviewed for own area of sales ledger and customers chased for payment.

Review of sales orders suspended for credit. Reports run through the day.

Review of pro forma payments and release of sales orders.

Production of updated daily stop list.

Prepare for stop lists and faxes informing divisions.

Copy invoices and proof of delivery as requested by customers. Link to divisions for resolution of any invoice queries or credits required.

Development of admin procedures and use of Infor system as agreed with Credit Manager

Identify continuous improvement possibilities to assist customer account management and debt collection as agreed with Credit Manager

Update of all customer accounts direct debit details.


To be considered for this position candidates are required to have credit control experience and be familiar working within a busy credit environment.

Job Offer

A basic salary of between £22,000- £25,000 plus excellent varied benefits.
