Service delivery manager
Our client is a food logistics provider working in partnership with industry leaders in
Catering and major wholesale distributors.
You will manage your team closely and also act as the first point of contact for customers querying delivery times. You will be required to brief & de-brief your team effectively on operational performance. Dealing with holiday requests, disciplinaries & overall management of your team. You will need to monitor driver performance on a daily basis & take action where necessary. Identify clear and concise training plans for your drivers.
Exceptional ability on Microsoft office
Experience in completing audits
3 years experience as a delivery manager (or equivalent)
Competent on Word & Excel
Strong verbal & written communication
Ability to deal with multi-drop runs
Experience at dealing with customer queries on delivery times e.t.c.
£30,000 + 07:00-16:30 Monday to Friday one in four Saturdays 06:00-15:00 any successful candidate will need to be flexible, Pension + automotive discounts (tyres & mots)
