Our client is a well-established family run business that is incredibly successful. They are now looking for a creative and innovative Marketing Manager based at their busy Head Office, reporting directly to the Operations Director.

The role of Marketing Manager is a “stand-alone” role where you will be responsible for implementing various marketing strategies and initiatives to directly contribute to the growth of the business using various Social Media techniques.The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and develop marketing plans and set objectives while closely managing the marketing budget. The role of the Marketing Manager is varied and core responsibilities will include:

·Develop and build upon an effective prospect database

·Manage the production of all marketing campaigns

·Create new marketing materials as required

·Identify areas for PR coverage and develop the PR plan – extensive liaison with the local press

·Develop integrated marketing campaigns via direct mail, media, sponsorship and online marketing including social media

·Manage the website, keeping up to date and relevant

·Responsible for tracking, analysing and reporting on campaign success

·Gain customer feedback in order to evolve marketing strategies and materials

·Attend regular management and board meetings

·Monitor all competitor activity

·Database management – develop a renewal database with objective to maximise cross-selling

·Produce seasonal promotions and retention programmes

The role of Marketing Manager is key to the business and the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, verbally and written. You will be passionate about marketing and have a proven track record of delivering strong and successful marketing strategies. You will be strong on Access and Excel and ideally have experience of Sirius (not essential). This role will be an interesting and enjoyable role and is a fantastic chance to work in a professional and incredibly friendly working environment.

Hours of work: 9-5.30pm, one hour for lunch.
