Hales Group are currently recruiting for an Underwriting Assistant for our Insurance company based in Newmarket.

Responsibilities:

To provide a high level of customer service to third party brokers at all times in writing, over the phone and face to face

To carry out all of the administrative work around the renewal, new business and mid-term adjustment procedures and additional administrative support as required by Director and Underwriters

To keep electronic files up to date, in order and all work tasked/diaried accordingly

To take on extra responsibilities from time to time as required by the business

Candidate Requirements:

CII qualified or working towards (desirable)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Administrative experience, preferably in an insurance or broking company environment

Working knowledge of Acturis (desirable)

Full clean driving licence (desirable)
