We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join a high technology company developing complex capital equipment for the printing industry. The company is already market leader, very dynamic and growing strongly with ambitious plans for further expansion and so offering the Product Manager excellent opportunities for long term career progression. Working closely with customers, R&D Team, Marketing, Engineering Project Managers and Directors, you will manage a portfolio of products to ensure they remain profitable and meet market needs internationally, monitoring change and modifying requirements as necessary.

Main Responsibilities as Product Manager:

To plan, balance and manage the engineering product portfolio

To manage projects, providing documentation, processes and support necessary to take the product to beta and successful launch

To maintain up-to-date market knowledge and research customers/market needs to inform strategic business decisions

To define a market requirement specification both to improve existing products and introduce new variants

To support sales channels and customer facing activities including demonstrations, pitches, trade shows etc.

To manage the promotion of the product in line with agreed branding and product strategy, generating new business opportunities for the sales channels.

To regularly review, update and supply product technical and operational information for the company website, PR releases and other promotional media.


Educated to degree level with a business / commercial / marketing focus,

Proven experience in technical product promotion, product management and branding.

Experience of co-ordinating and working within the product lifecycle

Confident, an excellent planner, brilliant at liaison and collaboration across the business to ensure all relevant parties remain engaged, spotting problems before they occur

Previous experience in the print/print machinery industry is desirable but not critical.

IT skills - M/S Office
