Baltic Training and Minster Micro Computers are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join an existing team based in the heart of Kidderminster! With a track record of investing into Apprentices, this exciting opportunity comes with the growth of our client who specialise in computer support and work with clients such as Birmingham City University and the Chamber of Commerce!

This role will see you working alongside a team of Technical experts gaining first-class work experience allowing you to kick start your career in the IT industry!

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:

  • Working with members of the Technical Department to ensure it works smoothly and efficiently
  • Assisting with in-house repairs of equipment
  • Assisting with customer systems
  • Providing 1st line IT support
  • Assisting with in-house repairs of equipment

Training to be Provided:

  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Networking Fundamentals - MTA
  • Mobility and Device Fundamentals - MTA
  • Cloud Fundamentals - MTA
  • Coding and Logic
  • ITIL Foundation
  • External Assessment, Synoptic Project and Overview

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Math's and English.
  • Passion for IT.
  • Great organisational and communication skills.

The future is bright:

Upon completion of the programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our Level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • £150 per week
  • Full time (37.5 Hours per week)

Location and Travel:
This role is located in central Kidderminster and is easily accessible via the local bus and train-stations.
