My client, a prosperous manufacturing business based in Gloucester is currently seeking a purchase ledger clerk to join their busy and supportive finance team. This is a full time permanent opportunity working 8.30-5pm.
Your new role
Your main responsibilities will include; processing invoices in a timely and efficient manor, matching invoices with goods received notes, processing online payments, reconciling supplier statements, reconciling bank payments, calculating adjustments, dealing with internal and external queries and any ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
Due to the busy workload it is essential that the successful candidate has recent experience working within an accounts payable department. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment processing high volumes of invoices. It is essential that the successful candidate has the ability to prioritise their workload and has strong attention to detail. Ideally the candidate should be competent with Excel, and should know how to use Vlookups.
