LOCATION:
This position is based from the West Midlands manufacturing site so candidates living in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Telford, Stafford, Cannock, Worcester and other local areas are preferred. Relocation packages are on offer for candidates wanting to move to the West Midlands region.

THE ROLE:
Working for an internationally renowned manufacturer of technology and materials science related products, as a System Development & Applications Engineer you will play a vital role within the polymer 3D printing division.

Based from the West Midlands, you will help spearhead the development and application of new and existing products to the specific demands of a varied client base. Using your knowledge of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) you will be working on a wide array of projects existing at the very forefront of technology.

With a background in polymer materials science, additive manufacturing and applications problem solving, you will work with senior engineers, project managers and site teams to offer new products tailored for interesting and challenging manufacturing set ups.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for candidates with experience in additive manufacturing, materials science and/or materials engineering.

Essentially you will have knowledge of the polymer industry, Selective Laser Sintering and/or 3D printing and modelling technologies.

With relevant qualifications in this field, you will be a technically minded professional who is able to troubleshoot, problem solve and develop technical solutions.

With some industrial experience in a similar applications engineer, project engineer, development engineer etc capacity, you will be looking to join a market leading firm and have aspirations to move your career forward.
