The School

This outstanding secondary school is growing each year and has plans to open up a Sixth Form shortly. It is based in a tight knit community in Newham and this sense of community is felt within the school amongst staff and students as well. This school is also easy to reach via TFL and has a staff car park. The visionary head teacher supports her staff in truly making a difference to their students.

The Role and Candidate

This position is a permanent role beginning in January 2018. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and have a proven record of results in Science. NQTs will also be considered if they show the right attributes. The head teacher is always open to fostering development amongst recently qualified teachers.

The Deputy Curriculum Leader in Science will support the Head of Department in the running of all departmental matters and will help lead the department in areas of curriculum development and teaching and learning.
