Working within the delivery team, the Data Collector has an essential role being responsible for gathering, data on a wide range of public sector procurement opportunities and plans. It is essential that the timeliness and quality of the data collected is accurate, pertinent and relevant.
Key activities will include:
•Identify and match relevant public sector opportunities to clients as defined by customer confirmation of activity classifications.
•Maintaining regular communication with internal stakeholders
•Liaising with the team to support data collection requirements when they are not readily accessible through desktop research
•Supporting the Research Manager’s requirements to gather specific data on UKand International procurement bodies and opportunities, supporting the new product development process
•Support the Research Manager in the collection of data in support of their analysis of public sector strategies and spending plans, to support the development strategy, marketing and client’s public sector business strategy
•Support the Sales team when example opportunity data is required in support of developing new clients.
Current & relevant experience within a similar role
Excellent data collection and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Strong Excel skills
Professional and confident telephone manner and excellent email communication skills
Ability to present data in reports clearly and concisely
Time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
Sound experience and knowledge of web based research and telephone research techniques
