Compliance Specialist, Sandoz, Surrey, UK. Job purpose Reporting to the Compliance Officer, support effective implementation and maintenance of the Integrity and Compliance program at a local level. Key Responsibilities ESTABLISH COMPLIANCE: • Support establishment of compliance standards based on internal policies & guidelines/implementing procedures (CoC, BPO, Anti-Bribery&P3’s) & on applicable local laws & regulations incl. industry code. • Align local standards w/global minimal standards&ensure that in all cases most stringent is applied • Support development&maintenance of SOP's for relevant policie EMBED COMPLIANCE: • Together w/Compliance Officer, establish an annual local training plan for CoC, BPO, AB, P3s&any other relevant training as per identified gaps • Coduct onboarding &any refreshers on compliance standards &business practices • Regularly monitor completion of (e)-training courses &(e)-certification of CoC & follow escalation process to ensure the agreed completion target for (e)-training (95%) and (e)-certification of CoC (100%) are met. Ensure system for documenting and evidencing training completion is followed • Continually provide advice&guidance to business on compliance topics &challenges (including on required approval processes) • Support Compliance Officer in establishing/executing a monitoring program for various compliance topics, including but not limited to P3 transactions, in-field activities, top 3 risks, HCP engagements&closure of remedial actions arising • Maintain, report&present/communicate Sandoz UK compliance KPI’s& other matrices to ensure visibility of performance • Actively participate in Compliance Mtgs(prepare content, minute proceedings& follow up on arising actions)&share best Practices • Maintain Compliance Intranet site&compliance communication plan • Support CCH in the identification & realization of cross-divisional synergie ENFORCE COMPLIANCE: • Collate all info/input needed to assess risks. Inform Compliance Officer & different departments on identified compliance risks. Support compliance officer in aligning compliance risk mitigation plan with mgmt • Support self-assessment process to monitor the status of compliance program • Actively perform follow up on closure of remedial actions from various assessments (risk assessments, P3 assessments etc). • Regularly update Compliance Officer, country leadership&regional / global compliance on status of compliance program. • Ensure allegations of misconduct are reported in a timely manner to the BPO • Inform Global Division Compliance Head and Country Management of areas which represent a material compliance or reputational risk • Model ethical tone and speak up culture.
