Key responsibilities:
- Develop applications and experiences, primarily using games engines, for varied target platforms (including desktop, mobile, VR, AR, immersive domes, and web). You may be expected to lead development of some projects, with support from senior team members, or to work within a larger project team
- Produce well written, well documented, functional, readable and maintainable code
- Take responsibility and ownership of tasks, communicating effectively with your project and team lead
- Take responsibility for delivering products which are well tested, robust, and polished to a high standard
- Implement UI in collaboration with the project UI designer
- Contribute to client enquiries or negotiations of a technical nature as requested, with support from senior team members
- Remain adaptable to change in duties as projects, deadlines, or business dictates

Required skills and experience:
- Graduated from a relevant software or games development degree, with minimum of 2 years industry experience, and a demonstrable portfolio of high quality work
- Experience developing games or other applications using either Unity or Unreal, across multiple past projects
- A very good existing knowledge of engine functionality, including the editor interface, scene setup, scripting, UI implementation, materials/shaders, lighting, particle systems, mobile development, etc
- Familiar with object-oriented design principles. Good knowledge of either C# or C++, preferably both
- A good knowledge of graphics hardware and software
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or SVN
- An interest in developing applications and experiences for new and emerging platforms, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and domes

- Strong existing experience with both Unity and Unreal games engines
- Examples of past work using games engines for non-games applications
- Some past experience developing virtual reality and/or augmented reality applications
- Experience with native iOS and/or Android development a bonus
- Some web development experience a welcome bonus, but not essential
