Helpdesk Support Engineer Based Maidenhead Up to £30K base Our client is a managed services provider who provides services across network security and network management. This is a fantastic opportunity which has the potential to evolve into a pre / post sales consultancy position as experience is built! The hours for this role are rota'd between 8am - 4.30pm and 9am - 5.30pm. ***This role is Maternity Leave Cover - however it is highly likely to become permanent*** Helpdesk Support Engineer role includes: - Dealing with new and existing customer support tickets via phone and email - Liaising with vendors and the technical teams to resolve tickets - Having a good understanding of customer needs and requirements - Configuration and supporting products Helpdesk Support Engineer skills required include: - Solid experience working in a customer facing helpdesk role - Strong communication skills - must be able to confidently convey ideas and concepts to customers / vendors - Ability to quickly understand and troubleshoot new products - Technical understanding of these technologies would be advantageous: - Aruba, BlueCoat, Gigamon, Juniper, McAfee, Netscout, Riverbed - Wired and Wireless networking - Security - Encryption, anti-virus, DLP - Windows and Linux based operating systems Apply now by clicking the button below!
