Compliance Manager GDPR, ISO2001, ISO9001 Berkshire A growing yet established IT company in Berkshire is now recruiting a talented and committed Compliance and Governance Manager We are looking for someone who has experience working in a Compliance or Governance managerial role. You will have taken responsibility for this function in at least two organisations, in a lead or solo role. The role will include overall responsibility for ensuring the company's conformance with all regulatory and security requirements, improving and maintaining standards, instigating new processes and ensuring all criteria to retain key accreditations, such as ISO 27001, ISO9001 are met. It is imperative to us as a business that we demonstrate that our organisation has best-practice information security processes. Therefore, the first and most important job of the incoming Governance and Compliance Manager will be to perform an in-depth audit of our current situation in terms of risk and compliance. You will review our procedures across the business and ensure all employees have the processes and policies in place to allow compliance. The most important of these is ensuring ISO 27001, ISO9001best practice is followed. It falls to you to ensure every aspect of the business to be ready for re-certification when the time comes. This will include maintenance of the data protection function, ensuring the necessary security is in place and the correct permissions are being used. Once this audit is completed, you will constantly review for improvements to the way we do things, in all things from security to ITIL procedures. This will have included implementing ISO 27001/ISO9001 at least once: having researched and reviewed what was required, written the policies and adapted it into the business. This will have included setting up the necessary data protection policies as part of the implementation process. As part of this process, or another, you will have demonstrable knowledge of change management, having brought in policies into business with several significant stakeholders. You will have been keenly aware how these changes affected the business and processes already in place, and they will have been implemented with as little upheaval as possible. It would be expected that you will have a good knowledge around some or all of the following policies: ISO 9001, the new Equal Opportunity policy, how to implement the London Living wage, and the new GDPR. You will also have significant experience around ITIL. You will either have implemented from scratch or comprehensively reviewed an existing process, making recommendation for changes and rolling out modifications across at least one previous business.
