Hudson are delighted to be recruiting for a UX Designer with their global client based in Glasgow. Working closely with the UX & Design Manager within the digital team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a customer centric user experience across multiple sites and channels. The right candidate must be able to balance both user and business goals to help define the direction of a product's development and can support the team in the development and implementation to make end to end customer journey reality. Key Responsibilities: - Help the team deliver high quality digital products which understand and empathise with customers while matching the brand values across responsive devices - Work collaboratively with developers, product owners and other designers to develop a better user experience from small design tweaks to full redesign projects - Day to day management of website and supporting applications - Creation of site optimisation testing plans and execution of these using key tools such as Visual Website Optimiser to drive tested improvements - Gather user requirements and formulate user stories and digital/functional specification to accommodate these changes - Provide high quality UX support and help drive customer retention through improved customer engagement. Skills Required: - Has knowledge of Agile working and Lean UX principles - A person who can work well within a friendly small team who communicate well - Understanding the user, sketching, wireframing and prototyping solutions in browser or out. - Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite & other popular UX prototyping tools such as Invision.
