Application Support - 1st/2nd Line - Chatham, Kent - Up to £26,000 plus excellent benefits I am currently looking for an Application Support who will be responsible for the delivery of technical functional specification documents in order to meet business requirements for system changes. You will be resolving support queries, supporting technical and environment related issues understanding, identifying and delivering business BAU change needs. Daily duties - Be the subject matter expert on the mortgage systems and the system interacts with other applications and third party systems - Supporting the resolution of non critical support queries, solution delivery, stakeholder management and risk management - Being a key player in the resolution of non critical system production issues with he support of the IT Delivery Manager ensuring all all resources and efforts are co-ordinate in a co-operative resolution of the issue - Working in partnership with the first line support desk to ensure issues are logged correctly, efficiently and delivered to a timely resolution - Support for all releases and code fixes - Communicate technical issues to non technical members of staff - Dealing with queries which require technical input such as SQL scripts, XML code changes, IP configurations - Liaising with the testing team and business to scope and schedule testing activities required Skills required - Strong experience in an IT Support or Mortgage Support role - Strong experience with a technical background working with IT systems - Full understanding of a project life cycle from start to finish - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Excel and SQL - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Application Support - 1st/2nd Line - Chatham, Kent - Up to £26,000 plus excellent benefits
