Apprentice Service Centre Technician A large international automotive company are looking for an apprentice to join their team. You would be on day release 1 day a week working towards an electronics qualification. For the other 4 days, you would be learning how to repair, test and maintain diagnostic equipment in a workshop setting. This could be the start of an exciting career with the company if you are a motivated, quick learner who likes problem-solving. You would start on an apprenticeship wage which would grow as your skills develop. As an Apprentice Service Centre Technician your duties would include: - To learn how to repair products returned to the service centre. - Modify and update diagnostic electronic equipment. - Test various products the company produce. - Once trained discuss product problems with the customer. - Ensure stock levels are accurate and appropriate. - Learn and use the bespoke computer software. The ideal Apprentice Service Centre Technician your duties would have: - An interest in electronics and learning about them. - The motivation to learn all facets of the business. - The personality to communicate well with customers. - The ability to investigate problems to then solve them. - The desire to progress within the company. - Good GCSE passes in Physics, Maths and ICT Apprentice Service Centre Technician In return, you would start on an apprenticeship wage and get your qualifications paid for by the company. Your working day would be 8:30 till 5:00 pm, the times would be different for your college day which is based in King's Lynn. The qualification you would be starting with would be NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering (unless you already have it).
