JOB TITLE: Payroll and Accounts Assistant

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

THE COMPANY: Our client is a local Chartered Accountants based in Market Harborough which was founded in 2003.

THE ROLE: The role of the Payroll and Accounts Assistant will include the processing of multiple payrolls and assisting with bookkeeping and the preparation of VAT returns on behalf of clients together with the preparation of small accounts. Training will be given. The company actively assists the professional development of employees through internal and external training.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role. Excellent organisational and time management skills are the key for success within this position of a Payroll and Accounts Assistant. This position is based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. You must have a good standard of numeracy and literacy with a basic comprehension of Microsoft Excel.

Key experience essential for the role of Payroll and Accounts Assistant based in Market Harborough:

• Must live within a commutable distance of Market Harborough, Leicestershire
• Will have GCSE grades C in Maths and English or equivalent
• Will have ideally worked in a similar payroll/accounts role previously
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Any experience with Sage payroll will be advantageous but not essential as training can be given
