Our client, an award-winning company of liked-minded individuals working with the largest FMCG retailers in the world, is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to solve complex data problems and be comfortable creating and communicating technical ideas for their customers. You'll be thrown into the deep end with data, using your instinct to identify what's important to a customer and what critical elements need to be captured in their tools to build killer visual analytics. You'll understand how important accuracy of data is to their customers and how to take data into their platform and build stunning visual dashboards and key management reports used throughout out platform. Responsibilities - Ability to understand the 'art of the possible', the risks ensued and what the best course of action is for our customers. - Advise customers where the technical limits are and help them find ways to solve problems - Apply configuration changes to software ensuring all changes are tested and appropriate. - Configure reports or dashboards on their system, with support on data structures as required. - Willingness to learn about new platforms and technologies. - Continuous improvement across the team and wider organisation. Experience - Minimum of 2 years of working on IT projects, preferable SaaS with management or business analytics including BI. - Helping to deliver project success and solving challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. - Proven clarity of thought under pressure and an eye for detail. - Extremely proficient with Excel so that you can analyse data provided by customers - Proficient in writing and running SQL queries - Experience of SaaS reporting tools, including entity relationship diagrams, and building analysis and trending dashboards to show customer the power of the data help in our platform(s). Desirable - Experience work in B2B environments - Experience of working in FMCG retail, private brands is a plus. - Experience of large scale change control projects with internal and external users, with focus on - engagement techniques.
