Job Summary: Design engineers required to support Single Aisle Design assessment and validation task. Experience of SA design methods and relevant tools are essential. Previous experience of concessions desirable. Required Skills (Technical Competency): The jobholder will be responsible for Design Assessment (T100) of and support to the customer build line of manufacturing concessions, candidate should be of suitable experience to begin collation of logbook to support application for Design Approval (T200) of Concessions, processing of complex, high-priority concessions and providing support to off-shore team on an arising basis. Role Description - Will functionally and operationally report to Concessions Engineering Manager. - Responsible for support to the concession process. - Support offshore team Experience and Qualifications - Good of experience in handling Aircraft wing concessions. - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Relevant engineering Degree / HNC or equivalent - Aero structures Design or Manufacturing knowledge - Should be trained in relevant SA design tools i.e. DPDS Main Accountabilities - Processing T-100 (Design Assessment) - Support T-100 (Design Assessment) tasks - Assist in developing productivity improvement tools to enhance efficiency in answering standard answers for T-100 activities and to build the library of best practices and lessons learnt to minimise any human errors by which delivers improved quality of T-100 answers.
