We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our Finance Team. The role is based in Reading, Berkshire. Salary up to £26000 per annum. Reporting to: Accounts Receivable Supervisor Location : Reading Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to undertake credit control on a timesheet based sales ledger to maximise cash collection and reduce debtor days. Job Description - Cash collection on >100 blue chip accounts ranging from established to new projects - Reconciling Client Purchase Orders and Statements of Work per project plan - Cash forecasting - Daily updating of 3 monthly cashflow report - Contacting clients by telephone and email, recording of conversations on Excel/in-house systems - Building strong relationships with high value blue chip clients - Managing self-billing and 3rd party billing accounts - Preparing and actioning client rebates and credits as appropriate - Dealing with setting up access to, and administration of, client billing portals - Producing updates and reports to attend weekly Finance Director/ Group Financial Controller ledger review - Liaising with Engagement Managers to update them on the status of their clients' accounts and proactively manage potential payment issues - Produce Month-end data pack for review in Board Meeting - Provide cover across the Accounts Receivable function Essential Skills - Experience of working in credit control - Proficient in MS Office (Particularly Excel). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Good relationship building skills - Ability to work under own initiative - Time Management and Planning skills Desirable Skills - Ability to work in a small finance team - ICM Qualified - Experience of Epicor finance system Core Behaviours To work with Huntswood's employees are described as dependable, driven and collaborative.
