IT Security Manager - Technical Information Security - Stoke on Trent IT / Security / Manager / Data Protection / GDPR / Integrity / Confidentiality / Systems / Infrastructure IT Security Manager required for a leading client based in Stoke on Trent to be responsible for protecting the security of information and systems, and ensure the legitimate access to this information. You will work with different teams across the business to ensure compliance with Data Protection/GDPR. You will work to deliver security awareness and data protection training to end users, and work with external stakeholders for independent security reviews and compliance audits. IT / Security / Manager / Data Protection / GDPR / Integrity / Confidentiality / Systems / Infrastructure Key Responsibilities - Contribute to the design and maintenance of the IT Security strategy and plan - Manage day to day security of networks across multiple sites - Work with stakeholders to ensure systems are up to date with the latest security patches - Perform security risk assessments of equipment and systems - Investigate suspected attacks and help manage security incidents - Manage the development, and implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures Key Skills - Experience of managing security across all areas and functions of the business & supply chain and across all domains including information security, IT/technical security and physical security. - Have a good working knowledge of IT and security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, CobiT and ITIL. - Knowledge and expertise in data protection including GDPR and EU data Privacy rules. - Experience of PCI DSS compliance programmes as a key decision maker and subject matter expert. - Knowledge of Cyber Essentials. - Experience of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity design, planning and execution. - Experience of working with cloud hosting providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services in a security role, Office 365. - Demonstrable experience of working in an outsource environment managing third parties to deliver security outcomes. - Awareness of Project Management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2) The salary for this position is between £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and my client offer an excellent benefits package Interested?!
