Survey Programmer / Technical Survey Scripter Location: Wetherby Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Hours: Full time post (37.5 hours per week) based in Wetherby We have an exciting role for a web developer, IT graduate or experienced survey scripter who is looking to broaden their skillset and work in a varied role. The role of the Survey Programmer / Technical Survey Scripter: Due to the bespoke nature of our projects, no two days are the same. The role will involve a combination of programming, databases, web design, survey scripting and data analysis. Examples of the day to day tasks you would be involved in: - Scripting surveys using Askia software - Building bespoke systems to satisfy client requirements e.g. online blogs, email validation systems, etc. - Creating survey templates in HTML & CSS to replicate client's website branding - Designing and building web pages and small websites - Supporting the Data Processing team with data analysis - Developing macros and systems to improve efficiency within the company Requirements of the Survey Programmer / Technical Survey Scripter: - Minimum of grade C at English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) - IT experience either through employment or higher education - Must hold full UK driving licence (occasional travel is required to provide off-site technical support) and be eligible to work in the UK. - A technical background (this could be through employment or higher education) - Programming and database experience (e.g. VB, C#, SQL) - Web design / development experience (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, etc.) - Familiar with front-end frameworks (e.g. bootstrap, jQuery, etc.) - Willing to work on many different tasks including programming, databases, survey scripting, web design and data analysis - Able to work both independently and as part of a project team - Excellent mathematical and problem solving skills Survey Programmer / Technical Survey Scripter Benefits: - 33 days annual leave (including statutory bank holidays) + a birthday holiday - Option to accrue up to 6 additional days leave through a time off in lieu scheme - Free on-site parking - Pension scheme and company annual profit share - Health cash plan - Flexible benefits portal with instant access to 100's of perks, benefits & discounts If you meet the requirements and feel that this Survey Programmer / Technical Survey Scripter role is right for you then please apply today!
