Senior Digital Portfolio Manager: As part of a major digital transformation programme, we seek a Senior Digital Portfolio Manager to own and deliver a portfolio of Digital/ IT programmes and projects. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the Senior Digital Portfolio Manager will take overall accountability for ensuring successful delivery of this OpCo aligned digital portfolio. Key deliverables are: - In conjunction with Group IT Architecture and Finance, to work with senior business leaders to shape the digital programme/ project portfolio. - To manage the delivery of a portfolio of Digital programmes and projects in line with OpCo. - Drive strategic change through implementing and embedding the Group IT model, processes and standards. - Implement continuous improvement and reduce time to market across the portfolio. Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience for the Senior Digital Portfolio Manager are: - Educated to degree level or equivalent - Senior level leadership experience in IT gained in a complex, global organisation - A strong track record of large scale IT portfolio delivery - Strong Digtial aptitude and knowledge across full IT lifecycle - Experience in managing across multiple cultures/ countries - Evidence of having full visibility and control over the IT portfolio - Evidence of improving time to market of programme delivery - Evidence of driving lower costs in the delivery of IT without compromising quality - Evidence of compliance with the Group IT sourcing model, processes and standards Accountabilities of the Senior Digital Portfolio Manager are: - Communicates and influences at CEO, CFO and Director level proactively seeking to identify and shape this digital portfolio - Effectively leads, develops and motivates an internal team of 50 - 100 programme/ project managers and functional/ technical leaders to successfully deliver a project portfolio of £30m - £60m PA - Accountable for IT delivery from production of solution architecture through to live operational support. - Establishes and manages strong commercial agreements with third parties. - Ensures formal agreement from a diverse range of senior stakeholders. - Facilitates timely decision-making required to effectively achieve project delivery. - Manages risks and issues at a portfolio and programme/ project level. - Takes overall responsibility for the investigation and application of changes. - Influences stakeholders. - Works within a defined Agile/ Prince 2 process and governance frameworks. - Successfully leads and delivers agreed additional transformation programme activities.
