Job Title: Graduate Economists and Statisticians Location: Blairgowrie Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: ASAP Job Role: One of the UK's fastest growing utility suppliers, our Client has exciting opportunities for Economists and Statisticians to work on key areas of their commercial strategy, to provide analysis for tariffs, pricing and risk, to understand market opportunities and ensure that commercial decisions are fully informed. The Company is the leading independent water retailer in the UK and having established their business to participate in the English and Scottish water markets, our Client is now strategically positioned to take full advantage of the deregulating business water market in England. They adopt a disruptive approach to marketing, using low-cost routes to market, and a distinct ethical philosophy which sets them apart from other utility suppliers. The Company has the mind set of an independent, but the financial resources of a major company. They have a need to appoint a small number of economists and statisticians to provide analysis of tariffs, pricing and risk, to understand market opportunities and ensure that commercial decisions are fully informed. These roles are central to their activities, and provide an opportunity to use a range of economic, statistical and mathematical skills. As their market is newly deregulated, they are looking for candidates who enjoy problem solving and can work on their own initiative. Candidates will have a relevant degree.
