Service Delivery Manager - Financial Services Location: Edinburgh Salary: Dependent on experience plus 15% flexible benefits Sopra Steria is currently recruiting a Service Delivery Manager for a unique opportunity to work in collaboration with our Financial Services clients. Delivering a range of medium to large scale IT services in areas such as technical infrastructure, business process and IT Service provision using multiple delivery channels. Responsibilities will include: - Actively supports sales campaigns to demonstrate delivery capability to clients promoting the business process and IT outsourcing services with clients and developing relationships that are transferable into sales opportunities - To identify new areas within assigned clients as potential for generating business and growing the client - Responsible for production and maintenance of detailed service definition, including scope and deliverables for agreement with the client - Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with agreed scope to meet the client's and Sopra Steria's requirements in delivering to acceptance criteria, timescales, financial measures, quality measures, standards, service levels and contractual arrangements including change controls - Ensures that appropriate service delivery performance indicators are implemented in order to monitor and measure the service delivery against contract/SLA and expectations, and to demonstrate Sopra Steria's achievements to the client - Establishing service budgets, gaining acceptance of cost, revenue and margin targets and managing accordingly. Producing accurate forecasts of future performance and reports on variance against forecasts - Ensures risk management plans are in place for service; actively identifies areas of risk - Identify and manage risk in business activities and take responsibility for reporting risks in a timely - Provide effective people management and leadership to the service team ensuring that team members have effective performance management, have objectives set, are motivated and developing their skills and experience - To establish and maintain strong communication channels between the delivery organisation, technology partners, Sector and Client - The Delivery Manager must have strong communication skills in order to work with the client, ensuring there is a clear, shared understanding of the end result. Essential Skills - Experienced in monitoring and reporting key service delivery indicators and ensuring SLA's are adhered to - Extensive stakeholder engagement and leadership experience - Expertise delivering technical services such as infrastructure, application management and IT service provision - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills - Experience in Financial Services Desirable Skills - An ITIL certified Service Delivery Manager with an appreciation of industry best practice - Membership of a recognised professional IT body Applicants will be based in Edinburgh but must be flexible to travel outside this location to accommodate project demands.
