Technical DLP Analyst Norwich Job ID: R-54082 Full time Role Description Working as part of the CISO Global Cyber Security Defence team (GCSD), to provide IT security operational services to Aviva markets; supporting regulatory, IT Security best practice, policy and business requirements. GCSD provides resources, processes and technologies to identify and respond to information security/cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents in order to minimize adverse impact to Aviva, its customers and partners. The individual will: - Support the Data Loss Prevention Lead in delivering Aviva's data loss prevention service to UK and other Aviva markets. - Support ongoing management and maintenance of GCSD's service monitoring solutions. - Assist in global transformation of Global Cyber Security Defence; leading and supporting a series of relevant funded BAU transformation activities. - Develop and lead assurance activities across an agreed range of data loss technologies/controls. - Support the DLP Lead in the identification and ongoing monitoring of specific security risks and KPIs and production of management information to ensure Aviva receives value from key security investments/services. - Contribute to resolution of identified control weaknesses. - Contribute to security incidents as appropriate. - Contribute to design, development and maintenance of security standards and controls. Essential Knowledge and Skills Qualifications - Security related qualifications desired (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, etc). - Symantec Data Loss Prevention or similar enterprise Data Loss Prevention technologies. - Oracle Database Administration. - Additional technical certifications desired (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, etc). Experience - Administration and support of DLP tools including: - Understanding complex business rules/control needs around data and their interpretation in to technical rules/solutions. - Validation of rules/solutions through effective and sustainable testing. - Maintenance, monitoring and management of an enterprise DLP service (security and service perspectives). - Oracle database administration. - Third party supplier management. - Monitoring DLP service using GCSD service monitoring solutions, providing insights, recommendations and remediation. - Awareness and use of security and privacy concepts (e.g. international and industry standards, legal and regulatory constraints, etc). - Infrastructure support and/or application development. - Data analytics, interpretation and presentation. - Management reporting. Skills / Knowledge - Understanding and practical use of Enterprise DLP technologies (Symantec DLP / similar, Symantec.Cloud, Echoworx, MDM, Lumension, etc). - Oracle database administration. - Operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, etc). - Active Directory. - Programming/scripting (e.g. PowerShell, PERL, Python, etc). - Networking fundamentals. - Fundamentals of OSI model. - Management of risk concepts.
