The Department of Nursing offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD courses in nursing and community health and has a strong applied health focus to our research activity, as well as educational evaluation research. We are committed to providing an excellent student experience and promoting the use of technologies to enhance the quality of our educational provision and student experience.

We are currently seeking to recruit a 1.0 FTE Learning Disability Lecturer, with sound academic / clinical experience who has the skills and knowledge to effectively engage with our academic programmes. To apply for this post you should be educated at Masters level or equivalent preferably with a teaching qualification, recognised by the NMC. You should have experience of involvement with Learning Disability Field nurse education from either an academic or clinical perspective.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to teaching and learning in Higher Education, work independently and as a member of a team for the enhancement of the student experience.
