Graduate Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer JAZZ NETWORKS is a tech start-up, founded in May 2016 following an acquisition in January 2016, where our previous company was bought for $716 million after 3 years of product development in the Unified Communication space. We are now set to tackle a new problem, the challenge of solving Data / Network security across Enterprise Networks. To do this, we are using an approach that will drive Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning across the guts of data flow and user behaviour to add effective management of security layers. This is a new idea and has not been solved yet, so we will be creating a product that will challenge the industry norm and break boundaries. Nothing new for us though based on our past activities. We are still very young and growth will be constant and rapid. Our offices are in Oslo and Uxbridge and opportunities exist in both. - We are looking for extremely bright engineers from graduate level up to join us as full stack developers in our R&D team in either London (West) or Oslo, Norway. - Are you a passionate full stack software developer who wants to build the next breakthrough in enterprise data technology? - Are you into Big Back End Distributed systems, Machine learning, AI, Fault Tolerance, Performance Optimisation and generally just thinking about BIG architecture? Candidate Profile You will be a passionate technologist, with impressive programming abilities. You will have no fear jumping into any dark cave in the entire software stack. You're not committed to any one tool, but like to use the right tool for the job. Like a scout, you always leave the cave a little cleaner than you found it. You're interested in software building as a craft, and get as much pleasure from implementing airtight tests as you do from implementing shiny new features. You get immense pleasure from using chaos-engineering principles to make the entire system robust. You will have achieved excellent academic results from a leading university and additionally done well at A 'levels or high school stage, with AAB grades at a minimum. You will want a career where your creative abilities will make a difference to the world of technology and you will be part of a truly impressive R&D environment. Essential skills sought Competence as a programmer / software developer across either Frontend, Backend, Mobile, Cloud, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Security, Enterprise Networks or systems. Your language experience isn't a primary search but you're not phased by having to pick up a new language or two along the way. No commercial experience needed but you will demonstrate an enthusiastic interest in technology. Desirable experience sought but not essential as you will learn · Designing REST APIs, using server-side events (SSE), gRPC or other protocols · Knowledge of golang(GO) , java, swift, C, javascript · Knowledge of PKI, SSL/TLS, enrolment and other crypto concepts · Appreciation of test-driven development, continuous integration/deployment, kanban · Knowledge of nosql databases such as MongoDB, cassandra and graph databases such as neo4j · Machine learning libraries for logistical regression, SVM, matrix factorization, PCA and DNN The offer: Bleeding edge technical challenge, flexible work environment with remote working feasible, exceedingly competitive salary, shares, roller coaster ride in a fun-filled environment, a career move you will remember
