Responsibilities: Build and sustain our client and server applications for Video Exploitation and remote sensing Target systems across the range from desktops to the cloud and onto embedded devices Focus on performance, scale and quality Software configuration management e.g. build, configuration, source control Grow with the company and expand your role alongside fulfilling existing needs Qualifications Essential skills: - Significant software engineering experience in C++ - Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle and agile methodologies Desired: - Backend JavaScript and WebAPIs - Cross platform development (Windows, Linux, mobile, browser) - STL, Boost, Qt, Python, Java - Real-time multimedia, video and image processing - Parallelized (multi-threaded & multi-core) design - Porting algorithms to other architectures e.g. ARM - Creating micro-services with APIs (REST, JSON) - Creating distributed, and parallel tools and services - Docker or similar products - Maps, GIS, SQL and NoSQL Qualifications: - Graduate degree in quantitative field (Maths, Physics, Elec.
