Location: Avonmouth
Customer: CDS The Range
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, 5 days out of 7
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

As a PI First Line Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that you plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the shift activities of the inventory team, providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training & development. Responsibility for controlling the adjustments keyed on the Red Praire WMS, highlighting adjustments which are impacting the business stock file. Responsibility for identifying training needs within the department. Plan resource requirements within the PI department

Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
Red Prairie knowledge with excellent understanding of this WMS
Facilitate effective communication and relationships with external customers
Ensure accurate control of inventory and adhere to department targets
Identification of best practices
Review weekly performance of the team and report activity to the senior management team
Prepare KPI reports, ensuring accurate reporting to the senior management team
Manage the daily count schedule and plan MHE as required
Personal hygiene and appearance to be maintained at a professional and acceptable standard at all times
Excellent database & spreadsheet working knowledge
Sound knowledge and use of the Mercatus host system
Ensure the deployment of the team is planned throughout the week to meet business requirements
Provide support to clerks in all functions of the PI role
Assist with the generation of space within the DC
Investigate and effectively communicate all stock discrepancies found
Report defaults of any MHE on site
Self development and skill the team up in Red Praire usage
Assist with the flow of data from Goods inwards through to invoicing.
Produce daily/weekly/period reports detailing all activities undertaken by the department and report highlighting successes and failures.
Up to date training records and skills matrix

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

Excellent organisational skills
Minimum of 3 year experience of team management
Good analytical and numerical skills
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Previous experience & knowledge of Red Prarie WMS
Process Management Skills
Excellent PI skills
