Application Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Secretary to join a multi award winning full service Legal Practice during this period of sustained growth. You will be joining a friendly, busy and energetic team where client relations are valued and individual staff are recognised and rewarded for their efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties

This is a busy office and you will be working with fee earners and the Residential Conveyancing Partner attending to all aspects of purchase and sales transactions including;

    Audio typing for sale and purchase and miscellaneous transactions. This includes offers, missive letters between parties, Wills, Powers of Attorney, requesting redemption statements, requesting title deeds, fee notes and all correspondence to clients.Opening of all files, e.g. Wills, Power of Attorney, Transfer of Title, Discharge of Standard Security.Obtaining, copying and scanning money laundering identification.Issuing sale/purchase and other quotations.Dealing with other Solicitor firms and surveyors.Day to day handling of Solicitors diaries.Dealing with incoming telephone calls and setting up appointments.Dealing with clients coming into the office.Uplifting and sending daily mail.
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience/Personal qualities:

    Experienced Legal SecretaryFamiliarity and knowledge of Residential ConveyancingExcellent organisational skillsExcellent accuracy and computer skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointFamiliarity and experience of operating Time Recording/Document Management/Case Management SystemsOutgoing personalityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills by telephone and in personAn ability to work proactively and under own initiative, when requiredFlexibility and adaptability
