Nine Twenty Finance are delighted to be assisting our Daventry based client in the search for a Compliance Analyst to cover a maternity leave of 9 months. This position works to ensure that Daventry Site is compliant with SOX Regulations. Working within a small team to ensure that all Site SOX Processes and workflows are documented and kept current, and that all new procedures are documented in accordance with SOX requirements. This will involve working across all areas of the Site. The role also involves the resolution of any issues arising. Key Responsibilities: - Working with Finance and Functional department members, to ensure the Site is SOx Compliant - Maintenance of SOx process documentation (including process flows walkthroughs) and the management of the SOx database - Audit of internal controls and processes and following up non-compliance - Segregation of Duties Audit - Audit of key spreadsheets that drive financial transactions - Administer monthly Site SOx Self Assessment process - Co-ordinating requirements for internal and external audits including year end audits - Co-ordinating and instigating improvements in order to close out any process issues - Ability to work on own initiative - Support preparation of Patent Box return - Provide ad-hoc support - Adherence to given deadlines and reporting requirements - Communication to employees of new process requirements and controls Experience Required: - Awareness of Sarbanes Oxley 404 Regulations - Must have a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a financial/accounting position. - Strong PC Skills - Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Access and Visio.
