Robert Half are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leader in their industry, based in Leeds City Centre for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temp-perm basis. We are seeking a well-organised, detail oriented and hardworking individual to fill this position. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable process and assisting with general accounting activities and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: review and verify invoices and check requests sort, code and match invoices set invoices up for payment enter and upload invoices into system track expenses and process expense reports prepare and process electronic transfers and payments post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records reconcile accounts payable transactions Education and Experience: proficient in data entry and management 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience Key Competencies: organising and prioritising attention to detail and accuracy confidentiality ability to meet deadlines If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you.
