TEC Partners are looking for a Lead Embedded Application Developer to join the Software function of a Chelmsford based client of ours. This position will sit along side the project manager and act as part of a global software and firmware team, working on sophisticated electronic products. The successful candidate can expect to be responsible for providing technical leadership for the embedded applications across a range of electronic devices, particularly accountable for being the key technical individual when it comes to Software design of an application. The nature of the role will require this person to have an understanding of working in a product development environment, including working alongside other technical teams across the Software and Engineering divisions. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Engineer to join our client's team, someone who is comfortable with, and committed to, carrying out a variety of tasks as required across the full Software Development Life cycle. To be considered for this vacancy, on top of showing the above willingness to commit to the role, candidates will need to display experience of the following: - Knowledge of common approaches and methods for real-team embedded microprocessor based implementations - Experience of product development - Commercial experience using C - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Electronics, Physics or a related Engineering subject - Knowledge of formal software design notations and practices - General understanding of microprocessors, communication protocols and real-time operating systems For more details on this inviting opportunity, please get in contact with Will at TEC Partners.
