Application Support ERP, WMS, DMS, MRP, Distribution or Accounting Software This is a great job with lots of variety for an Application Support Analyst, to work for an end user business located near Wolverhampton. They are a 100 strong successful import and distribution company with 2 depots, and a fleet of drivers, trading for over 30 years. 60 people work in the head office near Wolverhampton, with 25 others at a different UK location and the rest are drivers out on the road. Ambis have this job exclusively, so do get in touch if you would like to be put forward. Starting salary to £27,500 plus company benefits. They are looking for a Support Consultant or Support Analyst to work in a small IT department of 4, alongside the IT Manager, a 1st Line Support Consultant and a hardware support guy. This role is to look after the ERP software support side but it is varied and will also include some IT support, software modifications, report writing, server setups, database work, and desktop support, so there will be lots to learn and get your teeth into. They are running a tailored version of Epicor ERP software to run their business and it covers: - Distribution - Warehouse Management - Finance - Supply Chain - Multi-Order Processing - CRM - Business Intelligence Previous experience as an Application Support Analyst or Consultant working with ERP or WMS (Warehouse Management Software) or Supply Chain software or Finance and Accounting software would be ideal. Or you may have supported similar application software such as DMS (Dealer Management like Pinewood, Kerridge or Autoline), Construction Software, MRP Software or software for wholesalers, retailers or distributors. Any database experience with SQL Server would be a big advantage, plus a desire to get involved in software development would be excellent, (previous coding experience in any programming language would be a real help so you can pick this up quickly). The job is very varied as everyone gets to roll their sleeves up and help with different opportunities and problems. This role could cover: - ERP Application Support - An element of IT Support - Writing small modifications (software development) - Training the users - Building new computers - Setting up servers - Writing reports in Excel, Crystal or SSRS - Desktop support So you will be the type of person who likes to learn, who likes variety in their job, likes technology and is happy to do lots of different things each day. It's actually a very interesting role that you can develop and put a lot into, as well as inputting your own ideas and being creative. If you would like to know more, get in touch with Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing as soon as possible.
