Optima plus are exclusively representing our client in Stoke on Trent with the recruitment of an Installations Support Engineer. This role is a fantastic field based opportunity providing installation and product support to an European Operations Team. This will include the installation, commissioning and customer handover of both traditional equipment, and state of the art electronic products. Experience with Server/Linux qualifications are advantageous. Responsibilities and Duties: *Install equipment in customer venues across the UK and throughout mainland Europe. *Configuration of installed, or modified equipment on site. This includes machine and server configurations across a broad spectrum of products. *Training of customer staff on the operation and maintenance of products. *Compliance with internal and customer procedures to ensure Safety, Quality and Cost of activities is optimized. *Provide technical support to global service departments, including occasional after-hours coverage. *Provide support to other Technical areas of the business as required. *Testing of new products, and provide structured feedback to the development team for opportunities to further develop products. Our client are looking for a candidates that have strong PC and network skills. Along with Suitable Electronic / Electromechanical qualifications.
