IT Support Engineer/Help Desk Engineer | Up to £25,000 | Wilmslow town Robert Half Technology are working with an innovative IT Managed Services Company based in the heart of Wilmslow town, close to local transport links and a short walk to the train station. They are currently looking to expand their IT services by recruiting an IT Support Engineer, the role will be providing remote helpdesk support for customers across the UK, dealing with a variety of queries from user to server and network level support on both Windows and Apple platforms. A driving licence would be required for any onsite engineering work. You be working alongside an experienced team who will support and mentor you to succeed. What you will do: - Build internal and external relationships with key stakeholders - Liaise with customers to resolve queries at first contact - To deal with queries from end to end providing timely resolutions - Adherence to agreed SLAs for a variety of customers - Monitor customer systems and networks for faults and failures - Proactively provide advice on IT improvements - Onsite engineering work and potential IT projects - Maintain and update customer configuration and documentation To be successful as IT support engineer, you will be passionate about driving results and continuous improvement. You will be a natural people person, confident dealing with a large variety of IT queries whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. Require Skills : - - Windows Operating systems, 7,8 and 10 - Office 365 - Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 - Apple Max OS X - Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016 - An MCP, MCSA, MCITP or MCSE qualification (Desirable) - Knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, backup software, antivirus software would also be advantageous. (Desirable) - Excellent telephone manner and customer service and people skills - Ability to prioritise multiple workloads In return my client is offering a salary between £20,000 to £25,000 and an excellent benefits.
