Established for over 13 years, Better-IT Limited works with and supports a range of SME clients predominately in Leicestershire. We provide and support, networking, hardware and software including telecoms solutions utilising a range of platforms including cloud solutions. Salary will be reviewed every six months as training and skill set progresses.

The Job Spec is as follows:

Working for a small IT company with 3 experienced technicians, the job will be based in our offices in Leicester however the apprentice might be required to work from client sites with a technician when required. The Working day is 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The candidate will be given time to work on their course work during normal office working hours.


To provide first line helpdesk support to clients using remote support tools

To assist with the purchase, setting up, maintenance and repair of computer, computer-related and telecoms equipment.

To install and configure hardware, software and cloud applications.

To set up, maintain and organise repairs for various computing and telecoms equipment.

To undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested by the company
