Microlise are recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst to deliver excellent support services to MAN (Swindon) and Microlise customers as part of the UK based Microlise Service Team, (24 x 7, 365). The role is predominately based at MAN Swindon working directly with this key customer ensuring that service levels are achieved in line with contracts and OLAs. This role as a minimum will be leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 duties. The key purpose of the role is to work closely with multiple resolving teams - including internal Microlise teams and external 3rd parties to ensure the MAN fleet tracking and telematics system is functioning as expected. The aim of the role is to minimise both the number/severity of incidents and potential problems for MAN customers; reducing the adverse impact of incidents and problems that are caused by errors within the IT infrastructure/applications and to prevent reoccurrence of incidents related to these errors. You will be performing the management of both reactive root-cause analysis and proactive trend analysis across the MAN tracking and telematics system.
