Job Title: PHP / Moodle Developer - Home based Location: Home based with some days at head office in Doncaster Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 Benefits: Pension, Free Parking My client is a market leading provider of off-the-shelf and custom-built e-learning products for some of the worlds' most recognisable and respected companies. Their product range is developed in-house by experienced Designers and Developers. In this role, you will be working on both existing systems and greenfield projects that are part of the company's core vision and strategy. The company are happy for you to spend most of the week working from home with weekly or fortnightly days spent in the office in Doncaster, though the office base will be there whenever you need it. You will work closely with the e-learning development team using your software design and programming skills, including the use of PHP MVC frameworks, MySQL and other Web 2.0 technologies in a Moodle environment. The Role You will make a key contribution to the development and maintenance of the Moodle based custom LMS as well as coordinate system upgrades, including the licence management API. This will include integration with a Drupal based e-commerce system. You will implement knowledge of learning technologies to provide blended learning solutions. You will also have chance to work on a variety of other e-learning related development projects. Key Experience Required We are looking for either an experienced PHP developer with Moodle experience or someone with excellent Moodle development skills that has used PHP.
