Job Title: Finance/Payroll Assistant Department: Payroll Report to: Pension and Recoveries Manager Morson is the number one technical recruitment company in the UK with a turnover in excess of £700million. Main purpose of the job: Calculate and recover overpayments made to contractors via the payroll system. The successful applicant will also be jointly responsible along with the existing members of the team for managing the day to day Auto Enrolment pension process. - Overpayment adjustments to contractor payroll records - Debt recovery for the above - Weekly Auto Enrolment Pension admin duties - Weekly/Monthly Auto Enrolment Pension processing within payroll - Provide detailed reports to our pension providers on a weekly/monthly basis - Review Bank Statements on a daily basis to identify payroll related returned funds - Associated Account Reconciliations for all above areas - Respond to incoming queries by email, RT ticketing system, telephone - Adhoc duties as requested by payroll management Skills and Knowledge: - Ability to carry out manual PAYE calculations is essential - Previous Credit Control and understanding of debt recovery processes - Although not essential some experience of Auto Enrolment would be advantageous - Experience of working in a busy finance environment and working to tight deadlines - Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and prioritise issues - Excellent communication skills both written and oral Person Specification: - Good time management and an ability to work with minimum supervision - Able to work on own initiative whilst remaining part of the team - Ability to work accurately and quickly following established processes and procedures, whilst remaining calm under pressure Morson International is an equal opportunities employer and respects diversity.
