Job Title Head of IT / Head of Technology Location Cheshire Salary Up to £60k + Excellent Benefits Package The Company Our client is a very well established, multi-national communications solutions provider based in Cheshire who tailor, develop and deliver multichannel communications pieces for large organisations across the world. The Role As Head of IT, your role will be to oversee the entire IT technology function including management of the IT team, provide operational guidance and oversee the implementation of new systems and policies. You will be working in full collaboration with senior business stakeholders and building key client relationships to ensure the best outcomes for the business and customers alike. You will also be helping the organisation through an ongoing digital transformation piece, ensuring that IT systems are fully aligned with the wider group's IT strategy. Other key responsibilities for this role include: - Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations as needed. - Develop solution concepts and collaborate with senior project manager - Prepare monthly reports to the business outlining key projects in IT - Oversee the launch of solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organisation The Person The successful candidate for this role will have strong experience in the execution of the below tasks: - To provide full oversight on all technology operations and evaluate them to make sure they are aligned to business strategy and Group IT strategy - Analysis of the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs and priorities - Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems such as servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications - To build strong relationships and communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems. - Management of all IT staff, including hiring, training and developing - Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services - Management of financial aspects of the IT, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review - Management of vendor, outsourcing, consultant contracts and service agreements - Collaborate with the Group Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritisation of projects - Attend and advise business stakeholders during meetings - Manage robust escalation processes regarding the handling of customer complaints The Rewards This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well established but ambitious organisation.
