Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has a fantastic opportunity to join our multi-award winning company as a Back End Developer within our head office, New Malden (24 minutes from London Waterloo). If you enjoy design, coding, sharing ideas and would relish being part of a collaborative team within a growing successful international brand, then this is the role for you. This is a flexible role, with the option to work from home one-to-two days a week. You'll be joining our friendly and hardworking web development team working on cutting-edge technology across our multiple brands. Day to day you'll be working as part of a fully agile growing development team with a dedicated product owner team. You'll be responsible for building different applications and sites for our brands and several FCTG owned products and services. Previous experience required: * Exposure to Drupal 7 * Understanding of coding principles and standards * Experience with modern coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques eg. PHPUnit, TDD * Experience in collaborating in a team environment * Experience with consuming 3rd party APIs * Experience with browser debugging tools such as Firebug or Chrome dev tools * Proficiency in PHP, MYSQL coding * Good knowledge of Git * Knowledge of command lines (Linux and bash) * Experience working in an Agile environment * Some exposure to any of these Java Frameworks: React, Node, Express or Angular * Exposure to Symfony would be beneficial The rewards and benefits For this Back End Developer role, you'll be rewarded with a competitive salary and incentivised bonuses, whereby you will be rewarded each month based on targets that you meet and exceed.
