Software Applications Support (Web Solutions) - Software House - Newbury GBP 20-30,000pa depending on experience Our client, a software house specialising in the development of corporate intranet, extranet and portal solutions, are looking to expand the team by recruiting a Software Support person based at their Newbury offices. Directly reporting to the Technical Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing telephone and email support to the company`s customers using their helpdesk system, working within an SLA environment. The software applications are entirely developed in-house by the company who have been in the software business since 1999 and employs over 30 people. We are looking for individuals who are able to offer: - Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written - Good problem identification and analysis skills - Technical background that could include any of (HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, JavaScript, SQL Scripting, .NET, ASP, IIS, Basic Networking, VBScript, Web Technologies, Browser technologies) - Key is the ambition to expand your knowledge in your own time to further your career and technical abilities - Ability to work under pressure - Ability to prioritise tasks - Be self-motivated and able to work equally well as part of a team or on your own initiative This role could possibly suit an IT/IS graduate with around 12 months commercial experience, or equivalent. Full training in the product set and related technologies will be given. The solution is built with a .NET Front End and a SQL Server backend.
